IMVU is an instant messenger Internet site that allows for customizable 3-D avatar characters and backgrounds. The IMVU credits, sometimes referred to as points, can be used to buy a higher degree of character customization. Items that can be purchased with IMVU points include new clothing, new hairstyles, new furniture for the player's virtual home and other personal items. Points can be earned by doing several daily tasks, by watching videos or by completing offers.
Instructions
1. Log into your IMVU account using your user name and password. This will take you to your home screen.
2. Click the "Pet" link at the top of the page. Choose the "Play" option to play with your pet -- you may adopt a pet in this location if you have not done so already -- and automatically earn a minimum of 10 credits. You may earn these points every two hours.
3. Navigate to the IMVU "Earn Credits" page located at www.imvu.com/earn/credits.php.
4. Click the "View Current Offers" under the "Watch a Partner Video" section. You will be given a selection of videos to watch, all of which will award you at least 10 credits for watching.
5. Return to the "Earn Credits" page. Select the "View Current Offers" link under "Complete a Partner Offer." Choose any of the offers to earn 1000 credits or more. Some of these offers require a cash investment and a valid credit card.
6. Visit your email address -- the one you used to register on IMVU. Locate the "Welcome" email from IMVU that contains your verification link. When you click that link, you will be awarded 500 IMVU points.
7. Visit the Facebook login page and sign into your account. Type "IMVU" into the Facebook search bar to find the page for IMVU on Facebook. Click the "Like" button to earn 500 IMVU points.
