Give the seat cushions in your camper a fresh, clean look with new slipcovers. Camper cushions generally are simple rectangles, which means that slipcovers for them won't require you to configure any complicated angles. Because camping almost always includes a little dirt, a dark-colored fabric with a pattern is recommended. These slipcovers are secured with Velcro at the back so they can be removed for washing. Instructions
1. Measure the length, width and depth of the seat cushion.
2. For the top and bottom, cut two pieces of fabric 1 inch wider than the seat cushion's width from side to side, and 6 inches longer than the length from front to back.
3. For the edge, cut a strip of fabric 1 inch wider than the depth of the seat cushion and 3 inches longer than the total length of the front and sides. The edge strip is slightly longer than the sides and front of the cushion, which is needed to ease the strip around the corners.
4. With right sides together, sew the sides and front of the top and bottom pieces to the edge strip, starting and ending the edge piece 4 1/2 inches from the back of the main sections. This creates a type of wide pillowcase. Sew seam again for durability. Turn right side out.
5. The back section that is not attached to the edge creates a flap that folds both up and down to overlap across the back of the cushion. Sew Velcro pieces to this flap approximately every 12 inches.
6. Slip the cushion into the new cover. The fit will be tight, requiring you to squeeze the foam and work it all the way to the corners. When it is in place, overlap the back flaps and stick the Velcro pieces together to hold in place.
