Residence Inn Treasure Island
All the rooms at the Residence Inn Treasure Island are suites with full kitchens. Th inn's amenities include free Wi-Fi access, swimming pool, room service and a fitness center. Every hotel stay includes a hot buffet breakfast. This hotel is priced a bit higher than others in the area but it offers such services as grocery shopping for guests. This is a chain hotel and high standards are the norm. Pets are allowed for a fee of $100 per stay. Rates range from $139 per night up to $260 per night, as of 2010, depending on the season.
Shell Haven
Every window at Shell Haven cottage faces the beach and the one-bedroom unit that sleeps up to six has been fully renovated. There is a private dock on one side of the cottage and a sandy beach leading from the private backyard on the other. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, giving guests the option to cook meals in rather than spending money at local restaurants. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is provided to guests. Pets must be approved prior to arrival and there is a $50 deposit per pet, per month. Daily rates, as of 2010, range from $99 to $140, depending on the season.
Sea Oats by the Gulf
Sea Oats is located on a quiet section of the Treasure Island beach. This hotel only has six units, making it very private. All the rooms are completely different from each other, this is not a corporate hotel. You may book one unit or you may book the entire resort for a large group. All units include individual climate control, TV cable and a kitchenette with microwave. Rates range from $59 per night to $125 per night, as of 2010. There is a 15 percent discount for off-season rentals, which begins May 1 through August 31; a 20 percent discount from September 1 through December 15. There is a $30 pet fee.
Lorelei Resort Motel
Lorelei Resort Motel is located on the Gulf of Mexico. Rooms include a stove, toaster, refrigerator, microwave and separate dining area, free Wi-Fi, a water-front patio and a sauna and spa. The beautiful white sandy beach of St. Petersburg Municipal Beach is steps away. Enjoy a fun-filled day of activities or take in a marvelous sunset. Rates, as of 2010, range from $59 to $79 per night, depending on the season. There is a small pet area; the first two pets are free but additional pets may require a fee.
