Play Multiplayer Offline on "Resident Evil 5" for PS3
"Resident Evil 5" was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in March 2009. The game offers a single-player mode and a cooperative two-player mode. The two-player mode involves one player controlling the main character, Chris Redfield. The second player controls Sheva Alomar. The cooperative mode can be played over the PS3's online network or offline. Offline cooperative mode involves another person playing "Resident Evil 5" on your PS3 on a second game controller.
Instructions
1. Insert the "Resident Evil 5" Blu-ray disc into your PS3.
2. Open the "Resident Evil 5" game from the PS3 game menu.
3. Click the "Play Game" option.
4. Click the "New Game" option. Select your game difficulty on the next screen.
5. Play the game until you reach a point where you can move your character.
6. Click the "Start" button on the second game controller. This will allow the second player to join your game.
