Install Shield isn't software where you decides if you're going to use it or not. It's up to the company that made the software you are trying to install. Install Shield is software that most companies put into their software so it can be easily installed in Windows. Install Shield is used when you install or uninstall software that has Install Shield built into it.
Instructions
1. Locate the software that you want to install or uninstall on your computer.
2. Start Install Shield by double-clicking on the software you want to install. If you are uninstalling the software, click on "Start" and then "Control Panel." After that, click on "Programs" and then "Programs and features." Finally, find the program you want to uninstall in the list of programs installed on your computer, and click on "Uninstall."
3. Follow the on-screen instructions that Install Shield provides for you while you're either installing or uninstalling software on your computer. Either process shouldn't take more than a couple minutes, and Install Shield will tell you when your operation is complete.
4. Click the "Finish" button when Install Shield tells you that you have successfully installed or uninstalled your selected software. You've now used Install Shield.
