Activating cheats gives you new ways to explore the game world.
"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" is part of the "Grand Theft Auto" game series available on Xbox and PlayStation 2. You play as Carl "CJ" Johnson, falsely accused of murder, trying to clear his name across the fictional state of San Andreas. The game lets you explore its map with considerable freedom -- there are three islands to explore, a range of vehicles to steal, and you can run, swim and climb around the expansive game arena. However, if all that isn't enough for you, a few codes can activate a combination of cheats that turns CJ into a superhero.
Instructions
1. Activate the max strength cheat. On PlayStation 2, tap "triangle, up, up, left, right, square, circle, left." On Xbox, tap "Y, up, up, left, right, X, B, left." This will set CJ's muscle power to maximum.
2. Tap in the infinite health cheat. On PlayStation 2, it's "down, X, right, left, right, R1, right, down, up, triangle." and on Xbox it's "down, A, right, left, right, R trigger, right, down, up, Y." This cheat makes CJ impervious to fire and bullets.
3. Boost your lung capacity by tapping in "down, left, L1, down, down, R2, down, L2, down" on PlayStation 2 or "down, left, L trigger, down, down, black, down, white, down" on Xbox. CJ will have unlimited air when swimming underwater.
4. Give yourself super punching power. On PlayStation 2 tap in "up, left, X, triangle, R1, circle, circle, circle, L2." On Xbox tap in "up, left, A, Y, R trigger, B, B, B, white." When you punch people, they'll be thrown clear.
5. Give CJ the ability to fly, by putting a jetpack on his back. On PlayStation 2, the cheat code is "left, right, L1, L2, R1, R2, up, down, left, right" and on Xbox it's "left, right, L Trigger, white, R Trigger, black, up, down, left, right."
