Treasure Island is known for its beaches.


The small city of Treasure Island, Florida is located in the central part of the state's west coast along the Gulf of Mexico. It is just west of St. Petersburg and part of the city's metropolitan region. Treasure Island is home to some of west Florida's best beaches. It is also the location of several restaurants that offer visitors a range of cuisines and dining environments.


Caddy's on the Beach


As its name suggests, Caddy's on the Beach is located directly along Treasure Island's beachfront with outdoor tables just feet from the sand and a lounge area where diners can enjoy the view. Caddy's menu includes sandwiches, a fresh fish of the day and barbecue. The bar serves specialty cocktails, frozen drinks and a wide selection of draft and bottled beers. Caddy's is also open for breakfast, serving omelettes and pancakes. Diners can also enjoy the daily live music or a sunset view from the dining area.

The Pearl Restaurant


Located just off the Treasure Island Causeway offering fast access to St. Petersburg, The Pearl Restaurant is a more formal eatery with a cafe atmosphere and a menu of creative, modern dishes. These include an ahi tuna martini made with fresh fish, Kettle One and tapioca, a crab salad with avocado and a veal Oscar with a sherry wine sauce. Diners can also choose from several pasta and fresh, local seafood dishes. The Pearl Restaurant is open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner.

Captain Kosmakos Steak and Seafood House


Captain Kosmakos is a traditional steak and seafood house in Treasure Island. Its menu includes signature entrees like a whole Maine lobster, a New York strip steak and a place of 20 large shrimp. Other menu items include pan fried calamari, filet mignon and chicken Marsala. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and offers a wine list along with several specialty cocktails. Captain Kosmakos is open for lunch and dinner until 2 a.m. and features live music and dancing seven nights a week.
