Kill Ants In A Yard

There are over 19 varieties of ants throughout North America. Many varieties of yard ants (such as carpenter ants and fire ants) can damage plant life, destroy seeds and flower buds. Getting rid of ants in the yard is an easy process that involves a non-pesticide solution. Using a non-pesticide solution will help ensure that plant life, flower or herb gardens, and lawn grass itself will not be damaged during extermination. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Ensure that the watering can you will be using is empty and clean.

2. Fill your watering can with three quarts of lukewarm tap water.

3. Add 1 quart of vinegar to the water mixture and stir well.

4. Thoroughly saturate the affected area with the mixture. Vinegar is safe on grass, plants and flowers, and will not harm any pets that may be in the yard.

5. Leave the area to dry. Do not rinse the solution off of plants.

6. Repeat the process as often as necessary to ensure that your yard does not become damaged by ant infestation.
