Things To Do In Treasure Island Florida

Golf Coast Sunset

Treasure Island is located on the breathtaking Gulf Coast of Florida. Find it nestled in the middle of Madeira Beach and St. Pete Beach in the Tampa Bay area. It does not take long to figure out why it is known as "the treasure of the Gulf Coast" with its abundance of natural beauty and things to do.

Natural Things to Do

Make time to see the 3 miles of pristine, white sandy beaches along the Gulf Coast that make up Treasure Island. Enjoy a day at one of three beach areas, relaxing in the sun, swimming in the cool waters or strolling on the boardwalk. Explore the narrow northern end of Treasure Island that is known as Sunshine Beach. It, along with the opposite end of the island, offers a more noncommercial setting of sand dunes covered with sea oats. Each has parks offering services and amenities, such as picnic areas and restroom facilities. Walk on the half-mile Blind Pass Boardwalk that runs along the southern tip of the island in the Sunset Beach area. It is also one of the best fishing spots in the vicinity. Watching a sunset from the beaches of Treasure Island is a definite "must see" for any trip to the island. The center of the island is the widest and offers an abundance of waterfront hotels and motels plus numerous dining and shopping options along its beach.
