Making friends on Club Penguin is as easy as walking up to a penguin, saying "hi" and requesting to be their friend. However, if you want regular friends to talk to when visiting Club Penguin, it takes a little social networking and conversation to get things started.
Instructions
1. Go into Club Penguin, and walk up to another penguin that looks cool, has a cool name or is hollering out friendly greetings. Click on the "Messages" tab located on the left side of the tool bar, and pick a friendly greeting such as, "Hi," "Hey There" or "How's it Going?"
2. Wait for the penguin to respond to your greeting. If there is no response, try greeting another penguin or ask the penguin a question to get to know him better.
3. Request that a penguin join your buddy list by clicking on the penguin you want to add, clicking the happy face on their profile page and sending a buddy request to their inbox. As you build up your buddy list, you can track when your buddies are using Club Penguin, locate them during the game and chat or play games.
4. Send a friendly email by picking a greetings postcard or an invitation to meet up. These cost 10 coins and let your friends know you're thinking about them, or that you're online and want to hang out with them.
5. Watch the top, left side of your screen for the buddy request envelope. When this pops up, you either have a penguin making a buddy request, or Club Penguin is letting you know that your buddy requests to other penguins are approved.
6. Play a one-on-one game such as "Mancala" or "Find Four" with another penguin. After the game, compliment them by clicking on the "Messages" tab and saying "Good Game" or "Play Again?" You can also ask if they want to be friends and add them to your buddy list.
7. Host a party at your igloo, and make an announcement in a busy part of Club Penguin. You can type a quick invite into the message bar inviting everyone to your igloo. Go to your igloo, and see how many people show.
