Windrose
Windrose is the Tan-Tar-A Resort's year-round, upscale restaurant. The dining room overlooks the Lake of the Ozarks, so make sure to ask for a table next to the windows to enjoy the view.
The restaurant is known for its steaks, which are Midwestern-raised black Angus beef. Cuts include the 12-oz. New York strip and the 24-oz. ribeye. Another signature dish, the sauteed sea bass comes in a hazelnut crust with a sauce made from Frangelico liqueur. An extensive wine list is available and the restaurant also features a full bar.

Wobbly Boots Road House
The Wobbly Boots Road House is on North U.S. Route 54, less than a mile from the Tan-Tar-A-Resort. The restaurant is known for its barbecued entrees, such as pulled pork, beef brisket and baby back ribs. Numerous publications have given the establishment awards or recognition for its barbecue, including Southern Living, Golf Magazine and The Kansas City Star. J. Bruner's is on Highway 54 in Osage Beach, approximately six miles from the Tan-Tar-A Resort (around nine minutes by car). The house specialty is prime rib, which comes in a 12 oz. portion served with a salad, bread and a choice of starch or vegetable. Another featured entree, the batter-fried lobster is two 6 oz. tails, presented with the same accompaniments. The wine list features 27 selections; the bar is known for its ice cream cocktails like the brandy alexander or the minty grasshopper.
