"Sims Castaways" Nintendo Ds Cheats

Cheats for the Nintendo DS version of "The Sims 2: Castaway" can help you get more out of the island experience. They help you find valuable objects, acquire items you need to survive, and improve relationships with the other Sims. "The Sims 2: Castaway" is a 2007 spinoff of the 2004 life-simulation game "The Sims 2."

Crate Cheat

A crate carrying a random item will wash up on the shore. To change the random item to something you need, save the game when the crate is on the shore, then open it. If it's not what you want, quit, then load the game file that you just saved. The item will change each time you open the crate. Repeat this procedure until you get the item you desire.

Pass the Vines

The vines on the island prevent you for exploring the area in full, but there is a way to get past them. Go to the crafting rock, which is indicated on your map by an image of a rock and hammer. Click on the rock to craft a hatchet. Go to the vines, click on them and select "Remove." The hatchet will remove the vines.

Buy People's Love

To build your relationship with Suzy McDress and make her happy, offer her soda, cheese and a chocolate bar. Give Ms Weeder a gift of bananas and she will be instantly happy. Present Chef Butcher with some zucchini and eggs and he too will have a better relationship with you.

Bug Locations

Find the orange bug in the rocks at the Sewing area and Easel area. The blue bug is in the rocks at the Raw Food area and Canoe End area. The fuchsia bug and the pink bug are on the Vine area rocks. Bugs are collectibles in "The Sims 2: Castaway." You can keep them or trade them with other Sims for other valuable items.
