Trinity College Dublin is Ireland's oldest university. Students from the U.S. can earn undergraduate, post-graduate or doctoral degrees. The Erasmus and Visiting Students program offers one-year or part-year courses. Trinity has many departments and offers an extensive curriculum. The university is located in Dublin's City Centre with restaurants, shopping, clubs, music and historic sites. American College Dublin
American College Dublin has campuses in Dublin and Claymont, Del. Its program, called Study in Dublin, focuses on exploring the Irish countryside as part of the coursework. The college offers semesters, summer courses, 10-day seminars and field trips in Irish history and Irish commerce. It also places students in internships at companies. All the programs earn credits.

Díseart Institute of Education and Celtic Culture
The Díseart Institute is the only education program in Ireland that focuses on the Irish language and the culture of the Gaeltacht region of County Kerry, where Irish is primarily spoken. The institute's curriculum leads to academic degrees up to the post-graduate level. Some of its courses include Irish architecture, beginning Irish, folklore, traditional song and dance and theology and native spirituality. Díseart Institute has a partnership with Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn. Students can apply either through Sacred Heart University or the Díseart Institute.
