Santa Barbara's historic Stearns Wharf, built in 1872, is home to a multitude of shops and restaurants. Though heavily damaged by fire in 1998, the wharf was rebuilt into Santa Barbara's top tourist attraction. Visit the Ty Warner Sea Center, an interactive marine education facility, and walk out to the end of the pier to spot whales and dolphin. Moby Dick
Moby Dick, which rebuilt after being destroyed in the 1998 fire, serves steak and seafood. The restaurant is located at the end of the wharf and has magnificent views of the sunset. Menu items include lobster, crab legs, fried shrimp and fish and chips. A children's menu is available, as well as a full bar. A daily happy hour with free snacks is held on the deck outside. The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Harbor Restaurant
The Harbor Restaurant is an upscale seafood and steak restaurant on the Wharf. Window tables provide ocean views. Dinner entrees include seared ahi tuna, Alaskan halibut, Australian lobster tail and filet mignon. Lighter seafood entrees and sandwiches are served at lunch. Breakfast specials include eggs Benedict, steak and eggs and omelets. The restaurant has an extensive wine list. Banquet rooms for up to 100 people are available for private parties.

Longboard's Grill
Longboard's Grill is a casual restaurant that serves seafood and burgers in a lively atmosphere where you can dine inside or out on the open-air patio. Menu items include fish and chips, fried shrimp, ribs, tacos and daily fresh seafood specials. The restaurant offers more than a dozen desserts, including homemade cheesecake and apple pie, and hot fudge sundaes. There's also a full bar.

Santa Barbara Shellfish Company offers fresh seafood right on Stearns Wharf. The restaurant began as a buying station for lobster and abalone in 1979 and evolved into a dining spot. Menu items include clam chowder, shrimp scampi, lobster tacos, steamed clams, oyster shooters and crab cakes. The restaurant serves beer and wine, and is open daily for lunch and dinner.
