ESET offers both a comprehensive security suite and a standalone antivirus program. Although both products include antivirus and spyware protection the security suite includes additional spam and firewall protection. If you want to change ESET products, upgrade to a newer version of your existing software or are having problems with ESET, you can uninstall either version of the ESET software in a few simple steps.
Instructions
1. Click "Start" followed by "All Programs" and click the "ESET" folder. Click "Uninstall" below your ESET program's name to launch the setup wizard.
2. Click "Next" on the first screen of the wizard and click "Remove." Fill in the survey on the "Questionnaire" step of the wizard or clear the box next to "I Want to Submit the Questionnaire Data" to avoid the survey.
3. Click "Next" and "Remove" to uninstall your ESET product. Click "Yes" to confirm on the User Account Control message if prompted. Click "Finish" and click "Yes" to restart your computer after ESET uninstalls.
