Fremont, located on the southeastern end of the San Francisco Bay, is home to several popular attractions, including the Aqua Adventure water park; Mission San Jose, a Spanish mission founded in 1797; and Ardenwood Historic Farm, a restored 19th-century country estate. Fremont has a station on the BART rapid transit line that connects the city with San Francisco and the rest of the Bay Area. Trailer Tel RV Park
Located approximately 15 miles south of Fremont in San Jose, Trailer Tel offers 170 sites at a grassy park dotted with tall trees. Each 25-by-50-foot site offers full hookups (water, sewer and 30-amp electric) with a patio area and storage shed. Sites are available on a nightly, weekly or monthly basis. On-site telephone and DSL Internet connections are available through AT&T, and Trailer Tel offers free Wi-Fi throughout the park. The park provides an outdoor swimming pool open from May through October, a fitness room, a laundry room and car wash facility. Garden City RV Park
The Garden City RV Park is located in the same San Jose neighborhood as Trailer Tel. It offers 50 full hookup sites, all with 30- or 50-amp service. The sites can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet long. Garden City RV Park is wired for Wi-Fi service, and additional guest facilities include a laundry room and a public restroom with showers. Numerous restaurants line Oakland Road outside the park, including Los Garcias (Mexican cuisine), Chez Sovan (Thai and Vietnamese), California Sourdough deli, and Gecko Grill, a Mexican restaurant and cantina.

Candlestick RV Park
If your visit to Fremont will also involve significant sightseeing in San Francisco, consider a stay at Candlestick RV Park, approximately 30 miles northwest of Fremont. It's across the street from Candlestick Park, home of the San Francisco 49ers football team, and offers convenient access to the city center via shuttle bus. The park features 165 RV sites (as well as 24 tent sites), and each comes with a full hookup with 30- or 50-amp service. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park. Other amenities include a public restroom with showers, an area to wash your car or RV, a laundry room, a grocery store, and game room with a wide-screen TV.
